Since the beginning of this blog, I’ve been receiving questions and requests for help from readers. I love these exchanges.
Nevertheless, over time, the reality has become that I receive many more messages (via email and blog comments) than I can handle. But I have to admit it: I only have 24 hours in a day. And in real life, I’m just a family man with a full-time job (for now at least) with no personal assistant. And in addition to getting back to a more sustainable lifestyle, I also want to keep time to produce more in-depth articles — which require time to research and read.
Hence, from now on, I am unfortunately able to answer only a small part of all your messages. On the other hand, I still have time to read the emails of each of you, and I love to discover your stories and questions. Sometimes, I even turn these messages into a blogpost if it can help/inspire other readers in the MP community.
Of course, if the situation should change on my side (FIRE — Financial Independence, Retire Early — before my 40th birthday, reduction of my work time, etc.), you would be the first to know.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
Have a great start into your day, Marc
PS: if you are looking for advice about your personal situation (portfolio, broker choice, budget, etc.), I recommend you to visit the MP forum where you will certainly find similar questions that can help you. You can even ask your own questions. Many people exchange and help each other in our nice Swiss FIRE community.
